About Art and Soul

Art and Soul is Leyland’s longest established Tattoo Studio.

We specialise in creating freehand and custom designs.

Tattoos are not charged by the hour but by the individual design, so our customers don’t feel rushed.

If you’re looking for something a little different, or you have your own ideas, even if you have NO idea or just a whisper of a thought, we are more than happy for you to pop in and discuss your design or particular needs at any time.

We pride ourselves in creating a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, where your needs are our priority, no one is judged, and all are equally respected.

Small Tattoos

Small tattoo, single name, single word

From £15

A name or single word, a small flower, heart, simple style with minimal line work.

Name with DOB, scroll, small tattoo + flower etc

From £25 – £45

Your child’s name with their date of birth, a scroll with a name, a small design upto 3 inches square.

Medium to more complicated tattoos

Half Sleeve, Calf, forearm, full shoulder

From £45 – £120

Generally we aim to do this in one sitting but for the larger half sleeve or if you prefer we will tattoo over two, full payment on first sitting and an appointment made for two weeks later will be made on the day.

Larger custom pieces, full sleeve, full leg

From £100 – £180

For a full arm, sleeve, full leg, half back, half chest, larger custom design – these may be more suited to two+ sittings and an initial consultation to discuss your custom design further.

Full Back, Chest, Very Large custom

Very Large Pieces, full back, full chest

From £180 +

Generally these works of art need to be done over several sittings, this will be arranged to suit and a deposit of 50% of total price paid at first sitting – often these designs are created in such a way they can be added to over a period. 


A discussion between you and the tattooist to finalise your design and how you would like to progress.

Cover ups

From £20

This can be any size and it is best to pop in and let us see the tattoo you wish to cover.

Scar cover-ups and Permanent Make-up

Scar Cover-ups

From £20

As with tattoo cover-ups, this can differ vastly and depends on depth, size, age and type of scar and skin

Permanent Make-up

From £20

Eyebrow tattoos  – £50

Lip liner tattoos – £50

Nipple (pair) after mastectomy – £140.
